Starts about 40 km from us in Strömsund and is Sweden's highest road. It is a 500 kilometer long circuit that can be driven through spectacular scenery, there is of course also the possibility for canoe tours, horseback riding, bike tours....
Joelmässan:
Traditional folk festival since 1946 always around August 20th here in Hammerdal like the Swedes love it: Live music, an obstacle course for all who want to, oldtimer exhibition, small rides, food, raffles and the craziest thing: Skidoo riding over the water, not everybody makes the three rounds.....:-))
Moosefarm Östersund:
A little south of Östersund, 80 km away you will find Moosegarden, see moose in real life, kiss and learn stories....
Open air museum Jämtli:
Local history museum in Östersund, about 70 km from us, including traditionally dressed people in the exhibition as an experience, Christmas market and special exhibitions.
Dog sled tours:
About 100 kilometers from us various possibilities to be on the way with dog sleds for several hours through the winter landscape!
Snowscooter trips:
Within a radius of 10-50 kilometers there is the possibility to make guided tours on scooter trails through the winter forest, so to speak dog sleds without dogs :-))
