Built, furnished and decorated with great attention to detail, each barrel reflects the spirit of its namesake: the dazzling Astrid Lindgren, who aroused worldwide longing for Sweden with Bullerbü and Pipi Longstocking, the world literary figure and children's book author Selma Lagerlöf and the children's song composer Alice Tegnér.
On our west beach we have created three dreamlike places on the waterfront - you have to experience the atmosphere because you cannot describe it!
Your own canoe lies next to each barrel ready to explore our lonely lake Fyrsjön, barbecue and fire basket are in front of the terrace and the enchanting sunsets or a long winter evening can be best experienced in the new, wood-heated panoramic sauna barrel, all included in the overnight price.
A "Porta-Potti" toilet is in every barrel, shower, toilet, kitchen and living room with wood-burning stove are about 50 meters away in the granny`s-house, an old, typical Swedish cottage renovated in style and lovingly.
